Dr. Samtani has performed and directed analysis, design and field investigations for a variety of infrastructure facilities and multi-disciplinary urban transportation projects, including highways, bridges and tunnels in different parts of the country. • National Instructor for Federal Highway Administration (1997-Current): Teach Departments of Transportation (DOTs) throughout the US . Courses include LRFD for Bridge Substructures and Earth Retaining Structures, Mechanically Stabilized Earth Walls and Reinforced Soil Slopes , Drilled Shaft Inspector Certification , Subsurface Investigations and Earth Retaining Structures . Taught over 70 courses in over 30 states.
• Helped agencies develop guidance for LRFD implementation and calibration.
